Create a shared calendar with another domain within SM?

I want to create a calendar for my travels and share with a family member. We are each on our own domain. I'm user@domain1.com and they are user@domain2.com. Both are hosted within my SM Ent instance. I add a shared calendar and enter their full email address such as user@domain2.com but they are not seeing the calendar. Is calendar sharing only within the domain?

Hi Neil.  Correct, calendar sharing is only functional between users of the same domain.
Is it feasible to allow this across domains in the same SM instance (server)? Any reason I can't share between domain1 and domain2 on the same server?

Hi Neal,

Thank you for your feedback.  There is not currently functionality to share resources across domains, this is only available within a domain.  I have changed this post to an idea so it can be voted on as a feature request.
