Configuring email address

Hi,

I know this is cosmetics but the layout of from/to email addresses do display a degree of professionalism. See this capture from Thunderbird:

I would like the Address to appear the same as "Winhost" and "SmarterTools Sales" rather than the email address "support.mycourts.com.au".

I've tried without success to enter email addresses in various formats without luck.

What is the format that I should use?

The way this is currently built, the From field for the Event Action is what determines the from address displayed in your inbox. What value do you currently have saved in that field?

"MyCourts Support" <support@mycourts.com.au>

Based on our internal testing, the from address you are using for the event action should work the way you want. Most likely, there is a "support.mycourts.com.au" contact in your email contacts list which is associated with the support@mycourts.com.au email address. For many email providers, this would cause the contact name to be displayed instead of the friendly name included in the email. It looks like your email provider tries to show both, with the contact name listed more prominently. If you are able to do so, could you post the headers from the raw email? It should look something like this:

Return-Path: <tickets@example.com>
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
	boundary=----_SmarterMail_NextPart_8423856858878750

Subject: Ticket Message Received Notification
From: "Your Company" <tickets@example.com>
Reply-To: "Your Company" <tickets@example.com>
To: admin@example.com

Yep, that's the culprit. I deleted the address from my contacts list and the friendly name appeared.

Thank you.
